Norman Towns is an actor, comedian, writer and producer who originally hails from Chandler, Arizona. Shortly after moving to Los Angeles, California, Norman, portrayed the iconic Muhammad Ali in the feature film I AM ALI and also acted alongside Mark Wahlberg in The Gambler. Since then, he has landed roles in several critically acclaimed television series, including Living It Up, Black Boots, 427 and Those Who Can’t. Mr. Towns has also appeared in numerous television commercials for globally recognized brands such as Nike, Jordan, Adidas, Reebok, Pizza Hut, Dr. Pepper and Bud Light, as well as print ads for the European cover of Call of Duty.
Driven by his desire to create original content, Norman currently produces viral sketch comedy for Russell Simmons’ All Def Digital media platform and has also starred in and co-produced a successful web series entitled The Army Of None. By being active in the social media content creation space, Norman has capitalized on these opportunities and has grown a large following through social media organically. He hopes to to continue to grow his following by partnering and collaborating with fellow social media influencers who share the same passion of creating riveting and viral content with substance.
As a former top tier college athlete, Norman took the challenge of moving to LA and pursuing a career in the entertainment business in stride, bringing a similar competitiveness he used on the court to his advantage. Norman studied improv comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre and has performed stand-up at countless venues in Southern California and Arizona. He has appeared in rooms such as The West Side Comedy Theater, The World Famous Comedy Store, The Hollywood Improv, Flappers Comedy Club and The Laugh Factory on Sunset Boulevard.
